The JournalNet web application provides
members of the Joslin Research community with a single point of access
to the complete online journal holdings of the Marble Library and
the Harvard Digital Library from the convenience of their personal
computer. A user can browse through an alphabetical listing of the
journals by title or go directly to the journal of their choice by
using a searchable drop-down menu.
A unique advantage of JournalNet
for the user is that it provides automatic access to journal websites
that normally require login and password information as proof that
the user is a paid subscriber. By logging into the secure JournalNet
site, from any computer, a user is automatically flagged as a Joslin
subscriber and is allowed access to the subscriber site.
